Super Stock 3rd Place 2013- Mid Season Champion 2013
I got into racing in the early 90's at Hayden Speedway on dirt. Was pit crew for Ben Moreau for a few years.  Built my first Pure Stock in 2006 and finished 10th to end my year.   In 2008 I won my very first trophy dash with a couple more to follow. Took about six years off due to work obligations. 2013 was the best year thus far for me, 3 trophy dash wins, 1 main event win, numerous top 3 finishes, a quick time, mid season championship, rookie of the year in the Super Stock, 3rd end season points. In 2014 I will be driving the #88 GAM/IMCA Modified. I will try to race at BCS, FT. Morgan and possibly Casper. I race for the love of the sport, the speed and most of all the fans.

In the 70's my Mom, Dad and Uncle Ken raced out at BCS. I spent a lot of time with them racing and working on stock cars, that is where my passion for racing came from. I raced a little bit in 2012 and 2013. I am hoping for a full race season in 2014

I was introduced to the racing community by Jerry Shupe and started racing Hobby Stock in 1992. Blew the motor in my Trans Am which ended the 1992 season. Came back in 1993 whipped ass.  Won most quick times most main events and had perfect attendance.  I set the track record with a 14.898 which I broke in 1994 with a 14.444.  I lost the season in 94 to Sean Lacroix by about 5 points. Raced a couple more years then took off for a couple years returning I believe in 2012 sometime with the Monte Carlo Dustin Shupe has now. The Nova Jerry Shupe has now is the car I used for the '94 season and set the track record with.

Started racing in the late 80's.  I won many races but was never committed to competing for points.  I have been back at the track since 2011.  I runs a Nova, also known as the ugliest car on the track.   But, when shown some TLC it can't be touched! I am also a  member of the Shupe Lallak Racing team.

I got into racing in the bomber class at CNS in 1983 only racing one time after finding the turn four wall. It wasn’t until 1994 when I decided to race at Rocky Mountain Speedway in Commerce City where I won a couple of races that first year, Rookie of the Year and finished 6th place in points. The following year I won some more races with a 5th in points finish then hung it up to focus on my business. I raced on and off over the years, but never really focused on a full season. I ventured back into full time racing as a driver in 2004 winning some races and traveling out of town for some big money shows. In 2005 I won the last track championship at Rocky Mountain National Speedway competing against an average of 40 cars a night and 9 different winners. It was the best year of Super Stock racing in the area as the Super Stocks all but disappeared after Rocky Mountain National Speedway closed. I raced in 5 different states at some large super stock shows where I was often told I was “the fastest legal car” LOL. My best finish at a big money show was 2nd at the Flatlander Challenge and 6th in the Pahrump Super Stock Nationals-the winner was featured in Circle Track. I ran 5th at the inaugural super stock race at Dodge City Raceway-I believe I was the only super stock there all the other cars were limited late models. I am a stock car racer as I feel it is the only true race class-taking a street car and making it a race car with limited changes is true racing. I couldn’t do this without my wife Shelley’s support.

I started my racing adventures at Big Country Speedway in the Enduro class, I believe this was in 2004. In 2007 I started racing in the Junkyard Warriors, and finished 5th in the final points standings. After taking a year off I came back to race in 2009, I only raced a half season due to mechanical failures with the car. In 2011 I decided to move up to the Super Stock class and finished 6th in points my first year. I came back in 2012 to finish 5th in the final standings. I started the 2013 season in a new car, but that car got totaled and I finished the season in another car and ended the season 2nd in the points standings.

My passion for racing started with my Great Uncle Larry Dechant. He was a champion racer all over Colorado. After following the Dechant side of my family and their racing, I fell in love with the sport. With help from my best friend George Hosking the fun began. I started racing in 2012 at BCS. I placed 6th in points racing super stocks my rookie season. I'm excited to get more seat time in the super stock class for the 2014 racing season!!
